Croque Monsieur with extra aged cheese, ham and chives

Ingredients:
- 8 slices of white sandwich bread
- 8 slices of cooked ham
- 20 grams chives
- Butter
- 40 grams ketchup
- 150 grams ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged

Preparation
- Cut the chives into 1 cm lengths.
Method
- Generously spread 4 slices of bread with ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged.
- Place two slices of ham on each slice of bread and a few chives.
- Spread the other 4 slices with ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged and cover the bottom halves.
- Melt a knob of butter in a frying pan.
- Fry the croque monsieur, turning until it is golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Serve the croque monsieur with some chives and ketchup.
